These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Incased application and its content. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Incased on Apple devices you own or control, for your own professional reference. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, scrape, or create derivative works from the app's content.

- Incased does not provide legal advice and is not a substitute for official legal sources, legal counsel, Crown counsel advice, or your agency's policies, procedures, and training.
- Summaries are editorial condensations. They may omit nuance, may contain errors, and may become outdated as the law changes.
- Always verify against current official sources (statutes, regulations, and full court decisions) and follow your agency's direction before acting.
- You remain solely responsible for your professional decisions and actions.
Subscription
Incased requires an auto-renewing annual subscription ($29.99 CAD/year), purchased through your Apple account. New subscribers receive a 1-month free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of the free trial). The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.
Content Changes
We may add, modify, or remove content, and may modify or discontinue features or the app itself. We aim to keep content current but make no guarantee of completeness, accuracy, or availability.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The app and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, James Ridenour shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, or for any professional, disciplinary, or legal consequences arising from use of or reliance on the app or its content. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for your current subscription period.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time; deleting the app does not automatically cancel your subscription (cancel via your Apple account).
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
